Indication:
Lotan-H® is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy.
Dosage & Administration:
The usual starting dose is Lotan-H®50/12.5 one tablet once daily. More than two tablets of Lotan-H® 50/12.5 daily are not recommended. Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with losartan or hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy, may be switched to Lotan-H®50/12.5 once daily. If blood pressure remains uncontrolled after about three weeks of therapy, the dose may be increased to two tablets of Lotan-H® 50/12.5 once daily.
