Esomeprazole

Proton Pump Inhibitor, Antiulcerants (Alimentary Preparations)



Indication:

Treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Healing of erosive esophagitis, Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis, Symptomatic Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Zollinger Ellison Syndrome Risk Reduction of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer, & H. pylori eradication (Triple therapy).


Dosage & Administration:

Esonorm® is indicated for the treatment of - Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Healing of erosive Esophagitis, Maintenance of healing of erosive Esophagitis, Symptomatic Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Zollinger Ellison Syndrome, Risk Reduction of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer & H. pylori eradication (Triple therapy).
GERD: 20-40 mg OD for 4-8 weeks
Paediatric GERD: 10-20 mg OD for 8 weeks
NSAID-Associated Gastric Ulcer: 20-40 mg OD for up to 6 months
Zollinger Ellison Syndrome: 40 mg BD
H. Pylori eradication: 40 mg OD for 10 days along with Amoxicillin & Clarithromycin BD


Preparation:

Esonorm® 20 tablet: Box containing 10 X 10 tablets in Alu-Alu blister pack.
Esonorm® 40 tablet: Box containing 10 X 10 tablets in Alu-Alu blister pack.
